Since 2004, the museum has housed a permanent exhibition of photographs of the Olympic Marathons. The exhibition is donated by the Olympic Museum of Lausanne to the Municipality of Marathon.
A unique sports collection (medals and sports material) of International Marathons.Nowadays, more than 800 marathons are held annually worldwide, with the vast majority being amateur runners running for experience or for charity. The biggest marathons can have tens of thousands of participants.
