Collection of Spyros Louis – First Greek Olympic Champion

Οne of the most important exhibits of the Museum is the medal of the winner of the first Olympic Marathon of Athens in 1896, Spyros Louis. The diploma for his participation in the race, the “fesaki” hat of the traditional Greek uniform that he always wore. Copy of the cup that was awarded to him and was sported by Michel Breal.
