The hall was created at the Marathon Run Museum dedicated exclusively to the Classic Athens Marathon, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its first event.
In the new hall, more than 400 new exhibits are exhibited, a unique sports collection that records the historical development of the Athens Marathon from 1983 until today. Among them:

• The minutes of the decisions of SEGAS for the restoration of the first Marathon event, in 1983, under the name Marathon of Peace “Grigoris Lambrakis”.
• The authentic medals from the first Marathon of Peace until today.
• The diplomas awarded to the winners and all participants.
• Authentic cups from previous events.
• The first posters, souvenirs and sports material.
• Articles of the time.
• Handwritten testimonies of protagonists.
